How to Make the Perfect Iced Coffee Without a Coffee Maker

Choose Quality Coffee Start with your favorite ground coffee. Medium to dark roast works great for iced coffee as it gives a richer flavor.

Use Cold or Room-Temp Water You don’t need hot water! Mix 1/3 cup ground coffee with 1.5 cups of cold or room-temp water in a jar or bowl.

Let It Steep Cover and let it sit for 12–24 hours. This slow brew method (cold brew) makes the coffee smooth and less bitter.

Strain the Coffee Use a fine mesh strainer, cheesecloth, or even a clean cloth to strain the grounds. Pour into a clean container.

Add Ice Fill a glass with plenty of ice. Cold brew is naturally strong, so the ice won’t dilute it too much.

Sweeten It (Optional) Add sugar, simple syrup, or condensed milk to taste. Dissolve in a bit of warm water first for easier mixing.

Add Milk or Cream For a creamy texture, add your choice of milk—dairy, almond, oat, or coconut milk all work well.

Serve and Enjoy! Give it a stir, top it off with more ice or whipped cream, and sip your homemade perfection.
